Jake Seal Black Hangar Studios is a unique, vertically integrated turnkey production house, with full servicing fully in house, from Intellectual property to physical delivery; including VFX, Post Production, Film Lab, Photogrammtery, Cameras/Grip/Electric and full production support (management, legal, accounting).

Now celebrating its 12th year – Black Hangar Studios is proud to be part of the Orwo group of companies. Orwo is a 110-year-old brand and company, founded in Germany in 1909. Orwo is the inventor of colour film (1936) and still proudly manufactures world-class analog film products for discerning filmmakers (David Fincher, Richard Linklater, Quentin Tarantino) and photographers. 

Today, Orwo continues the wonderful tradition of innovation and is the holder of numerous World Records, a vast library of unique Intellectual Property and is the developer of a wide range of innovative technologies – smart focus systems, range finders, data archiving, stereoscopic cameras, AI based face mapping and world class motion picture cameras.

Black Hangar Studios has financed and produced numerous internationally successful feature films: Breaking the Bank (Kelsey Grammer, Tamsin Green, Manuel Sachs), Grand Isle (Nicolas Cage, Kelsey Grammer), Born to be blue (Ethan Hawke), Blaze (Ethan Hawke), Willies Wonderland (Nicolas Cage), Jeepers Creepers 3, Jeepers Creepers Reborn and Backroads (Alex Petyfer, Juliette Lewis).
